Well-read
We all want to be considered well-read.
Here are a few books I’m enjoying.
(Amended quarterly)
Angel Down
This entire book only contains one period. The entire story is written as a continuous sentence. A horror set in World War I, based around accidentally shooting an angel out of the sky.
WINNER OF THE PULITZER PRIZE FOR FICTION
Piranesi
A fantasy of a labyrinth told through the journal entries of Piranesi, a man who is exploring an endless house. I’d tell you more, but it would give it away.
The Daughters’ War
Humanity is fighting goblins, and they are losing. This story is told as though you were hearing it in real time. One of my favorite authors, Christopher Buehlman, is a master of storytelling.
